when the soul is no longer in the body - Part 2

I am listening to this song "It's Amazing" by Jem...
How apt a description of the silly things I am capable of...

It's amazing, it's amazing
all that you can do
It's amazing, makes my heart sing
Now it's up to you

Sunday
Woke up at 10.15am
Supposed to catch a 11.15am movie in town

Why
Phone went dead in the middle of the night
Alarm did not ring
Tried to resuscitate the phone
To no avail

Made a big fuss
Well what else do I do best?
Daddy fetched me to town
What can I do without him!

Brought dead phone to service centre
Told lady behind counter
Phone went dead
And cannot be revived.

Lady pressed 'start' button
!!!
Phone came alive with a weak vibration
Though battery is flat

Lady promptly informed me
Please charge your phone
And kindly asked
Would you still like to send it for servicing?

Good job, Jasmine!

when the soul is no longer in the body

I remember I poured some milk in a bowl and brought it to the living room to watch tv.
Then somehow something happened... which I have completely no memory of.
And my bowl of milk is gone from the table.
I then walked around the house looking for the bowl.
Finally I asked my mum if she had seen my bowl.
She looked at me, her expression a mixture of bemusement and disbelief, "Didn't you finish it and left it in the sink? Are you ok?"

I feel senile.
I am convinced my brain has reached its maximum utilization and is in a state of decline.
