i should have seen it coming

picoult is one devil of a writer.

just finished one of her novels "Handle with Care", which felt like a spin-off of "My Sister's Keeper".
Another family wrecked by a sick child, matters brought to court, and an ending which left a bitter aftertaste.

if I diligently filipped through 500 pages of your novel, can you at least have an ending that is more digestable?

that said, i think picoult is a good writer.
i just have to be more careful in selecting titles by her.
